She is invited to dance on the best ballet stages in the world, and in Ukraine, thanks to her name, ballet art has more fans. Ekaterina Kukhar is a symbol of modern Ukrainian ballet. She draws with her body every detail in the dance neatly and beautifully, from turning her head to the tips of her fingers, and her dramatic talent will help the viewer literally live the story of her characters with the ballerina.


"Carmen Suite" is a masterpiece of world ballet. The story of the tragic fate of the gypsy woman Carmen and the soldier Jose, who is blindly in love with her, whom she abandons for the sake of the young Torero. A love triangle that ends in tragedy will not leave you indifferent.
The content of Prosper Mérimée's short story, which is revealed in the opera in four acts, is condensed into one in the ballet. The ballerina Maya Plisetskaya was at the origin of the idea of the ballet based on the opera "Carmen". For her, Cuban choreographer Alberto Alonso composed the libretto and choreography of Carmen Suite, and her husband and composer Rodion Shchedrin wrote a transcription for the ballet.
